The Student Music-PC.

This is a no-nonsense machine with only the bare essentials of components, the keywords being cost effective! To this end, Music-PC have partnered with two of the big names in low-cost PC manufacturing, Dell and Viglen. We have taken their best value desktop machines and re-configured the windows installation so that it is optimised for recording and editing music and audio! So, with the Music "Student" PC you get one of the lowest cost machines available but with the benefit of 18 years' experience manufacturing and configuring Music PC systems for the music recording industry!

Our Music Student PC is just as reliable as our larger machines but is stripped of most luxuries so that you get a good solid reliable machine for less cost. Main Features:

Built around one of our Core 2 Duo Performance Music PCs this system is designed to be fast, quiet and able to cope with many simultaneous tasks. "Productivity" being the keyword on this machine! You may, for example wish to set the class a task of harmonising a melody using Sibelius on their student machines. While they're busy doing that you might want to be arranging a score on your machine ready for the next lesson BUT you need to be monitoring the activity of all the Student PCs using XXXXX classroom management software at the same time as you are playing and recording audio in Sibelius and Cubase on your machine - AND maybe putting together ideas for the flyer for the school concert in Publisher or Word at the same time! The Multitrack PowerRack Studio Music-PC

Now that your class has developed and you've got some really good music students they will naturally want to perform and to record their performances. You may have wonderful string quartets, virtuoso violinists or even talented and innovative rock groups emerging from your flock of once-reluctant students. And one of the best ways to encourage them further is to enable them to record their art in your own school recording studio and create polished recordings for them to take home. Our Multitrack Studio Music PC is designed and configured as a digital multi-track recording system that will enable you to record up to 8 tracks simultaneously and over-dub ( add more tracks) as many times as you want! Unlike with most hardware-based digital recorders and porta-studios, once you have finished recording you can then use the many software-based music production tools that are supplied with the machine to polish and perfect the recordings to an extremely high standard - and when you're happy with the results, simply write the whole to a CD for your students to take home! With a music pc software - based system the capabilities of producing great-sounding recordings are hugely increased!

With a high capacity Hard-drive and lots RAM, this machine is similar to the Music PC systems we build for private recording studios all over the country!

Choose either the Steinberg Cubase 5 solution with MR816 X Audio interface OR the Digidesign 003 Rack system. All Digidesign systems come with ProTools Le software with the option of the Music Production Toolkit 2 which massively enhances the capabilities of the ProTools software and provides lots of useful audio tools and is well recommended!

All systems are supplied fully configured and housed in easy to transport rackmount cases so you can pack away your multitrack production suite after use and store safely in a lockable room if necessary.
